Biography

Ph.D. University of Texas. As an expert in the history of international relations, his research interests focus on the history of European and world international politics since the 17th century, Central European history, and the theory of history and historiography. He is the author of four major books on the history of international politics, from the mid-18th century through World War II. He is a former Woodrow Wilson, American Council of Learned Societies, and Fulbright Fellow.
