Chris Szul is an undergraduate student at the University of Illinois studying Physics and Computer Science. His research for ACDIS focuses on the calibration of the Population-GDP model to figure out different countries’ national GDPs over time. Along with being a research assistant and office assistant, Chris is the Chair of Academic Affairs for the ACDIS Security Studies Group (SSG) and a researcher with the University of Illinois Math Department on Discrete Morse Theory, Vector Fields, and Materials Science. His interests involves machine learning, cybersecurity, and quantum computing. In the future, he hopes to go into research working on quantum computer or working with a cybersecurity firm.
