Publications produced by ACDIS are normally available on the web and in print, unless otherwise indicated.
Publications produced by other venues are typically available through libraries, the publishers themselves, or third-party vendors. Where possible and appropriate, the ACDIS web site links to electronic versions of full texts.
Publications produced by ACDIS
Swords and Ploughshares (1986-present) is a periodic journal published by the Program in Arms Control, Disarmament and International Security at the University of Illinois. Each issue features a collection of articles focusing on a coherent international security topic.
ACDIS International Security Policy Briefs
The primary aim of the ACDIS International Security Policy Brief series is to highlight ongoing academic research at ACDIS and the University of Illinois that serves to inform federal and international policy decisions.
Illini Security Briefings (web only)
Illini Security Briefings are short interviews with experts from the ACDIS program, regarding current topics in international affairs or security policy.
The ACDIS Occasional Paper series (1978-present) is the program’s principal publication for circulating the scholarly analytical results of studies by faculty, students, and visiting researchers associated with ACDIS.
The ACDIS Research Reports series publishes technical reports and the findings from contracted grant research by the program and its faculty and graduate students.
The ACDIS Newsletter summarizes selected initiatives and activities of the ACDIS program and its faculty, student, visiting scholar, and alumni affiliates.
