Facilitating and actively promoting the study of security issues by students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign features as a fundamental aspect of the overall ACDIS mission statement.
ACDIS impacts students’ educational and professional development by:
- Administering the Undergraduate Certificate in Global Security.
- Providing publication outlets and presentation opportunities for student research.
- Organizing lectures and professional development events tailored for securities students.
- Supporting undergraduate groups such as the ACDIS Security Studies Group and the Illini Journal of International Security.
- Offering academic and career advising for students in the Certificate in Global Security, ACDIS Security Studies Group, and/or the Illini Journal of International Security.
